Kitten.

This took around 10-12 hours, over a couple days to complete.

I've never drawn an animal before, I usually tend to stick to people, however I wanted to try something new. I quite like how it turned out but I got a bit bored and rushed a little at the end....plus I wasn't sure how to do the whiskers...if anybody has any tips that would be great! Overall though I'm quite pleased but may add a litte more to it if I have time. I'll probably draw a few more animals for practice too.

I found the reference here on DA, but can't find it now. Will be happy to put it up if someone comes across it though.

Faber Castell & Mechanical Pencils.

Blending stumps, tissue, cotton pads and q-tips for blending and shading.

White gel pen for little highlights in the eyes etc.

Kneaded eraser, block eraser and click-pen eraser.
