Neytiri Avatar by EmilyHitchcock Neytiri Avatar by EmilyHitchcock
~~~
Colour pencil drawing of Neytiri from Avatar.
I'm pretty happy with how this one has gone as I'm still quite new to colour pencil drawings.
Not everything is spot on but still, I'm pleased. :la:
I've invested in some better paper (Canson Bristol) and it's really paid off as the last colour pencil drawings
I've done in the passed didn't turn out so well as the paper I was using just couldn't handle the amount of
layers of colour I wanted to build up.
This took HOURS! :nuu: And I mean hours... and hours... and hours.
Probably pushing the Forty hour mark but dear god I'm finally finished! :woohoo:
Oh and I hate drawing braids... did I mention I hate drawing braids? They take AGES!
Yeah REALLY smooth paper, Canson Bristol. I bought it a while ago for just regular graphite and didn't like it, but it's actually really good for colour work :)
